Sansa just recently released their slotMusic players, yet it got almost no coverage. Apple’s iPods got non stop coverage however. The only places making any noise about the new Sansa music players are the Sansa Reviews sites. SanDisk is taking a big gamble by releasing their new slotMusic cards. While they have the backing of many of the recording studios and they offer lots of the hottest music on their new rebranded Micro SD cards, will the public buy into them? Are people ready to leave CDs behind already? With the popularity of online downloads on music stores such as iTunes it’s going to be hard to try and push a new physical music storing medium.
