Girls and video games

I guess all girls can relate to my ignorance when it comes to video games. Don’t get me wrong. I do know about Wii, Xbox and Playstations… but what I don’t get is the fixation and excitement over these kinds of… stuff. A friend of mine is a self-confessed video game junkie. And he’s been trying to make me a convert ever since I told him that my favourite game is Mario Bros. I would never forget his face when I told him about it. His eyes got so wide that I thought he had just gone into an anaphylactic shock. Anyway, since then, he’s been sending me all sorts of bloody and gore-y games, which of course I’d rather not see much less play. But it is amusing to see him try to recruit me into his coven and download wii games.  Man. If he only knew that up till now I still keep the Nintendo beside the TiVo.
