Visit Gatlinburg this Winter

Summer came and went and you did not have time to take that vacation that you wanted to.  Don’t worry, Gatlinburg isn’t going anywhere.  In fact, the winter is one of the best times of years to visit.  There are so many things to do there, that you won’t have time to pack it all in, in one trip.  Explore things to do in Gatlinburg on the Tennessee tourism site.

When visiting Gatlinburg, plan on going snow skiing and ice-skating.  After a few days of that you may want to relax and do some indoor activities.  Gatlinburg has plenty, so don’t worry.  There are some very unique places that you can go for the day, including Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokey’s and the Smokey Mountain Winery.  Make time for both of these places while visiting.

If you love to see thousands of sea creatures all piled up in one place, then Ripley’s will be a lot of fun for you and the family.  You can watch sharks tunnel through waters and stingrays swim through the tanks.  There are also a few land animals that may peak your interest.  Once you have seen it all at Ripley’s, go and taste samples of wine at the Winery.  Buy a bottle of your favorite to take home.
