There are many different nuances that make up a good climbing rope and it’s these nuances that make each rope slightly different from the other. The good news is, you don’t need an arsenal of ropes hanging in your gear room, the most common is the 60-meter-long dry rope with a 9.8mm to a 10.2mm diameter.
