How Old Should Kids Be?
April 28, 2008 7:13 am SportsI have heard about kids learning how to fence, and I am wondering what age they should be before they start to learn? I would think if they were too little they would be too irresponsible and might hurt themselves or others with their fencing equipment. The idea of kids running around with epees and sabres and foils and poking others in the eyes or something just pops into my head when I think about kids and fencing. Do they make special equipment for kids that is scaled down more to their size, or do they just make smaller uniforms for them?
