There are many unusual ways of learning French. Some work better than others but all can still be helpful. Okay, go ahead and laugh on this one but if I were you I’d take it seriously. Sure, you are talking to somebody who talks the language, thus giving you practice with your verbal and conversational skills a couple of hours a day. But how about the times when you both go separate ways to do whatever it is that you want to do? My suggestion: watch TV shows, movies, and programs and read literature in French. Trust me with these two ways of practicing you will surely learn how to speak French in a matter of days.
