The Style Of 1920’s Makeup

There is a part of me that wishes I had been born a hundred years ago. There was something special about the flapper generation of the 1920’s that has always appealled to me. I don’t think it was the dancing or the clothes so much as the makeup.

Makeup in the 1920’s was still expensive and fairly unusual. Getting hold of 1920s makup was not easy for everybody and you needed to have money but there was such a sense of style around at that time. The whole look with the hairstyles, the dresses and of course the makeup made it all an exciting time and of course, there were those flapper dances that we can still see in black and white films. Ah, those were the days.
