Installing House Shutters: Save By Doing It Yourself – PART 4

5:24 am Home

Make sure you use a plumb bob and level when installing shutters to make sure that the shutters are hung straight. Your eyes can play tricks on you, but a level will not. You will want to have an electric drill, a drive socket and the right apexes, as well as toggles if you are installing the shutters on sheetrock without a stud. Do not be hesitant to install your house shutters yourself. This is not a difficult job and after you have installed one unit, the rest will come very easily. Installing house shutters is simple, as long as you have the proper tools, including a screwdriver, drill, toggle mounts (if installing into drywall) and a level, you are capable of doing this job easily and quickly.
