Sciatica is considered as a lumber radiculopathy when it is causes by compression of nerve root. Lumber radiculopathy can occur from spinal disk herniation and from misalignment and enlarging of vertebrae. Spinal disk herniation is a herniated intervertebral disc. The degenerated discs which can reduce the diameter of lateral foramen can also cause lumber radiculopathy. Nerve root exist the spine through lateral foramen.
