Tips for better Netiquette

10:16 am Business

If you’re looking for tips for better net-iquette, then there are several things you should know.  If you are an avid Internet user, always check your email.  Isn’t it annoying when you send someone an email and it takes them weeks to check it and then even longer to actually send you a response.  By the time you do get a response, you’ve already moved on to the next thing.  Therefore, if you tell someone that you use the Internet and check your email frequently, make sure that you respond promptly (i.e. the same day).  If you use the Internet but don’t check your email that often or if you simply don’t check your email that often, then make sure that you tell people that, this way they won’t send you emails expecting a prompt response. Also, make sure that you distinguish which emails are business and keep them separate from those that are personal (friends, etc.).  You’ll save yourself a lot of trouble in the end!
