The city of Lexington SC is located in Lexington County and was established in 1785. This county is home to one of South Carolina’s major population hub as well as manufacturing growth center. The buildings and architecture in Lexington are classic to the Southern style and is reminiscent through the county. Originally settled by German settlers, they called the city Saxe Gotha but then later changed the name to Lexington after the first battle in the Revolutionary war. The Lexington SC homes in the area are a true testament to the culture and history of Lexington SC. Definitely worth checking out!
