Reducing risks and losses
August 30, 2008 4:17 am BusinessI am saddened by the fact that 1 in 32 people have a criminal record. If even most half of them have been jailed because of dishonest practices, rather than more dangerous activities, that could cost the business a great deal of money. I read that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce estimates that the dishonesty of employees costs businesses 1% – 2% of the gross sales. I am a manager in a hospital, and that result could result in a decrease of staff in an effort to reduce costs. Using a service such as Mac Data Advantage to legally do background checks for us will certainly reduce our risks and our losses
