I Got a Student Loan Despite Having Bad Credit

I was let go from my job last year, and I decided to go back to school for career retraining. I was amazed at just how expensive college had become, and I wondered how I was going to afford it. I had some negative spots on my credit report, and I knew that my only hope was to apply for student loans for bad credit. I got my approval notice, and I went down and got all set up to start taking classes. It was such a relief to know that I wouldn’t have to struggle while I was still in college, and now I have my degree and a job!
