I Could Not Go Yet

My wife called me the other night, and she told me that I needed to come home as soon as possible.  I asked her what the problem was, and she told me that she was working on designing our lapel pin for the parade, and she was having a really rough time with it.  I told her that she should have just waited until I got there to start.  She said that she wanted to try and surprise me.  I told her that I would help her out as soon as I got home, but I wouldn’t be there for another thirty minutes.
