Email and the internet beginnings

When the web first came out people didn’t really have email addresses or website so much as they were exploring the big companies sites. As people started to get used to the net email became the major component keeping people online. The best internet business at the time was ads in the bottom of emails sent out by users who got the use of the email system like yahoo or juno for free. Now email is everywhere and people use it like its second nature. Who doesn’t have an email address? The major companies no longer hold the monopoly on this technology.
