The end of the 4×4?

Recreational use of 4×4 vehicles as a sport is really looking down over the precipice at the moment with escalating fuel cost and vice like pressure from environmental groups bearing down upon it. Still you can be sure that a hardened few will stick to there guns and find away to keep doing the sport they love. It seems to me to be a sensible policy for 4×4 manufactures such as Jeep to target this hard core and this is exactly what they are doing with the new Jeep Cherokee.  The Jeep Cherokee takes the Jeep mark right back to its military days and its my opinion that the Jeep heads will love it.
