Opposites Attract

My boyfriend is a musician. I am not. He eats, sleeps, and breathes guitar, while I wouldn’t know a tuba from a trombone. He even offers local, Melbourne guitar tuition for the kids in our neighborhood, free of charge. I think it is probably this difference that attracted us to one another, and what keeps us together. We seem to balance each other out. He is the lyrical, artistic force that balances out my driven, type-A personality. And I am the analytical force that balances his checkbook and books his band into reputable hotels. Sometimes I wonder, if we had children, would they be a blend of our personalities, or would they be distinctly one or the other of us?
